GoVA Partners with Wayne Bank

Wayne Bank Partners with GoVA Foundation to Expand Financial Education Access for Military Families Across Pennsylvania and New York 

HONESDALE, PA (February 25, 2026) — GoVA Foundation announces a strategic partnership with Wayne Bank, a Pennsylvania-based community bank, to provide free digital financial education resources to military families through GoVA’s innovative platform, The Edge. 

Through a Community Development grant from Wayne Bank, the program will serve military households across Wayne Bank’s Pennsylvania and New York footprint, including Wayne, Pike, Monroe, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Chester, Cumberland, and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania, along with Delaware, Sullivan, Otsego, Ontario, and Yates Counties in New York. The Edge platform offers interactive courses, financial calculators, and other digital resources designed to build financial empowerment within the military community.

The partnership reflects both organizations’ commitment to supporting military communities and expanding financial education access. Wayne Bank will receive low- and moderate-income verification and quarterly impact reports as part of the grant agreement, while sponsored military members gain unlimited access to The Edge’s financial education tools for a full year. 

This collaboration is part of GoVA Foundation’s ongoing efforts to partner with innovative financial institutions nationwide in service of military families.
