Wallis Bank Renews Partnership with GoVA Foundation to Continue Supporting Financial Education for Military Families Across Three States 

CARY, NC (April 29, 2026) – GoVA Foundation is pleased to announce that Wallis Bank has renewed its Community Development grant for a second year, continuing to provide free digital financial education resources to low- and moderate-income (LMI) military families through GoVA’s innovative platform, The Edge. 

The renewed grant will support military households across four major metropolitan areas: San Antonio and Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; and Los Angeles, California throughout 2026. This renewal follows a successful first year that demonstrated measurable impact on military family financial wellness. 

Year One Impact Highlights: 

• 85% of sponsored members reside in low-to-moderate income communities 
• 100% of sponsored members actively engaged on The Edge platform 
• All members completed Financial Stress Score assessments 
• Average financial stress decreased by 2 points, demonstrating measurable improvement in financial wellness 
• Comprehensive CRA documentation reports provided for examination readiness 

The renewed partnership enables Wallis Bank to continue serving military families across multiple assessment areas with a proven digital financial education solution.
